      <image:title>What They Learn</image:title>
<image:caption>6 to 12 Months - See Self-Rescue Video A baby from 6 months to 12 months of age can learn to hold their breath under water, roll onto their back and float, rest and breathe until help arrives. It takes approximately 3-4 weeks for a baby to master these skills. After they have learned to perform these skills independently, all children then practice these skills fully clothed. 1 Year and Older Children ages 1 year and older can learn to hold their breath under water, swim face down, roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe, then flip back over and continue swimming. They continue this "swim-float-swim" sequence until they reach the safety of the pool side or the steps. To master these skills takes approximately 4-6 weeks. After they have learned to perform these skills independently, all children then practice these skills fully clothed since most accidents happen when least expected. Each lesson is no more than 10 minutes long and students attend lessons 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. This schedule is key for the retention of skills. Each lesson is one-on-one with the Instructor and is individualized to meet your child’s needs and abilities.</image:caption>
